Its one of the most entertaining, humorous stories i have ever heard . There was a lawyer who had his very expensive cigars insured with a company . Guess what the insurance was against fire. So this lawyer ployed for earning quick bucks , just smoked his cigars and filed a case for the insurance . The court very well acknowledged that the claim is frivolous , but the object having been insured against fire , company have to bear the consequences. The company , instead of fighting long court battles agreed to pay the lawyer 15000 $ .
:) But they filed a case against him for arsonist tendency , that is setting an insured object on fire. The lawyer was imprisoned for 24 months and fined 25000 $.This is what i call- you reap what you sow

Their persistence to avoid throwing their homepage to the advertisers which could earn them in the short run. For them its not about money but their passion , to create world's best search engine.

SOMETHING NEW : They are planning to launch a service where their subscribers can match their genes...yes they are catching up in biotechnology where the users can learn about their genetic behaviour ...though i don't have sufficient details .
