akshardham replacement of taj mahal

simply exquisite ...absolutely no match....marvellous

these were the reactions of the visitors i was hearing when i was trying to be a peeping tom , no no simply overheard them
this saturday i visited the new akshardham temple , with my parents . let me give you a brief of my tour to the temple
the temple has been dedicated to swami narayan ( a sage named neelkanth) who lived in chapaiya , somewhere near ayodhaya in 18 century .there are some authentic sculptors , around 1108 pillars ,each has its own motif , precisely 108 gajendre(elephants) carved out of redstone,.actually in hindu mythology 108 figure is supposed to be sacred . u will agree to it if you recall that there 108 names of durga ,108 names of shivji.
apart of all that it has the most modern picture halls ( much better and much bigger than our PVRs ) . the premises have a seperate space for the first timers (particularly tourists ) where they maintain museums which are equipped with robots (ya you heard me right) which are enacting with proper gestures showing a whole range of skits depicting the life of swami narayan
it has a water boat ride which runs into a cave , and our indian history is revised as old as 5000 years . actually the cave depicts through puppets glorifying our forgotten history of which every indian should be proud of .
all in all a great experience . i wish to revisit the temple again
ok time to catch my bus...byeeee
